The purpose of the Idiom Photo
Project is to create a forum in which photographers of various skill levels and
backgrounds can shoot and share their work on an assigned thematic topic. It is
called Idiom because the goal is to see how individuals interpret the written
word and how it drives them to create visual imagery through the mechanism of
photography. It is meant to be a fun alternative way to get photographers out
shooting less literal topics while interacting with a network of people also
pursuing the same goal. To that end Idiom is meant to create a shared
experience that generates different individual outcomes so we can learn from
and enjoy the work of our fellow photographers.
